Two of the ITN supervisors have recently been appointed Honorary Professor and member of the Executive Board in the Academic Society for Theology, respectively.

 

 

 New appointments in the ITN

One of the ITN supervisors at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Prof. Dr. Daniel Cyranka, was recently elected to the Executive Board of the Academic Society for Theology (Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Theologie) at the 16th European Congress for Theology in Vienna. Cyranka was the former chairman of the section for Religious Studies and Crosscultural Theology within the Society, which has approximately 750 German and international members. Prof. Anders-Christian Jacobsen, the ITN Network Coordinator at Aarhus University, was appointed Honorary Professor at Universidad Católica de Cuyo, San Juan, Argentina, in March 2017. During his visit to this and other South American universities, he was presenting the ITN research and giving lectures on Augustine’s anthropology in connection with the newly established network (see itn-humanfreedom.eu/news/nyhed/artikel/new-grant-augustines-anthropology/).
